A long time ago, when management told me that they had decided to change our current Exchange host provider, I figured that they had done all of the necessary research beforehand; however, I forgot they aren’t paid for that. Apparently, I am the one that is supposed to handle of the problems that they create.
So, here I am now with a fair Exchange host provider, all in the name of cost. Their anti-spam works effectively, but our previous provider was so much better, especially when it came to customer support. There have been several times where some our emails were not being fetched properly, and needless to say, customer services appears to be overpaid “script consultants”. I could just about repeat the whole question and answer call with them right now.
There are some positives though, as of course, the price was lower. Of course, I could not care about the lower price unless they are considering taking my job away. I know I have to deal with this company, and for the most part, I can’t complain, but I sure wish I had been asked to do so research into our hosting options first.

I am responsible for taking care our our company’s IT services as part of my job. I’m not an Exchange expert and often I work with outside companies who administer the services for us. We are using AppRiver Exchange Hosting for our email. I have been less than pleased with their services. Support has grown painful and when in the world will they move off their aging platform???. Their pricing is reasonable but I’m thinking it may no longer be the best value. Their anti-spam, I have to say, is good. I am now starting to look for other providers so we don’t remain on this stagnant older technology.
